"La Cheta" is a detached country home with a garden, located in the hills surrounding Lucca, a twenty-minute drive from the beautiful beaches of Viareggio. It’s ideal for alternating visits to nearby cities of art (Lucca 20 minutes, Pisa 30 minutes, Florence 1 hour) with beach vacations.
The house is furnished in a rustic style. It features a large living room with a sofa and dining table, which opens onto a large, fully equipped separate kitchen. The kitchen features a second dining table and a fireplace-grill for barbecuing. The house has two bedrooms with double beds, a small bedroom with a single bed, and a bathroom with a shower and bidet.
The house is accessed through a large tiled courtyard, enclosed by a gate, where you can also park your car. The courtyard features a gazebo with a table, chairs, and a barbecue for cooking and dining outdoors. At the back of the house is a large fenced-in garden, also for the exclusive use of guests, which is accessed via a pedestrian path. The first floor of the house, which I also own, is unoccupied. “La Cheta” is nestled in lush greenery, surrounded by countryside, woods, vineyards, and olive groves.
All kinds of shops and a supermarket can be found nearby. On the coast lies Viareggio (15 km), the most important city in the area, with beautiful beaches and beach resorts, movie theaters, and elegant shops. South of Viareggio lie the free, unspoiled beaches of the Migliarino and San Rossore Natural Park, reachable by car in about 20 minutes. Continuing north for a few kilometers, you’ll pass other famous towns in Versilia, eventually reaching the elegant and exclusive Forte dei Marmi (30 km). Inland lies the charming town of Pietrasanta (20 km), a destination for sculptors and artists from around the world: in the summer, it hosts major art exhibitions and concerts. Not far away is Camaiore (15 km), an ancient town famous for its culinary specialties
Furthermore, from “La Cheta,” you can quickly reach Lucca (16 km), Pisa (28 km), and Florence (100 km) for wonderful art tours.

Great quiet clean and beautiful location. Had everything for cooking and close enough to a good grocery to get more. Easy communication with the host too

Overall good. A little bit more utensils in the kitchen would be helpful.
The pillows were too hard in my opinion.
