The Space:
This second floor apartment has a NEW queen sized bed, and lots of space and natural light. The gorgeous bathroom with a tub/shower is an ensuite off of the bedroom. The living room and kitchen are open, and ready for your home cooked meals. If you would like to use the sofa bed, there are extra linens for the kids or that extra guest. The kitchen is stocked with pots, pans and dishes. There is a smart TV, internet, and an AC for those warmer days. You will love being so close to hiking, restaurants and the quaint village of Southwest Harbor.

We had a wonderful time staying here at the property. The place was clean, the check-in process was simple, the bed was actually really nice. I've stayed at a bunch of places and this bed was one of the softest; you know when you've had to sleep on a rock how important that is.The road was a little noisy outside but that was really only an issue once it hit around 8 am, and I'm awake before that regardless. I also don't count that as a strike against the property, it is what it is, but should still be said.Overall would stay again.

The apartment is conveniently located on Mount Desert Island to explore Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor (20-25 minute drive). Although it's on a major road, it was quiet. The bathroom was small but clean and well appointed (good water pressure in the shower).However, when we arrived the bedding in the master bedroom hadn't been changed and the space behind the sofa couch was dirty. There were also only 3 chairs in the apartment and a limited number of available glasses and cutlery. Overall the apartment is too small to comfortably accommodate 4 people (we were 2 adults and 2 children). The ceilings are very low and it's quite dark inside. The host promptly responded to our complaints and brought a change of bedding. When we arrivedTo sum up, the apartment would be suitable for 2 people for a short-term stay (max. 2 days), if you plan to eat out most of the time.
