Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay within walking distance to Carter Lake. This house has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with a fenced back yard. Bring your kayaks, paddleboards or motor boats to enjoy the 1100 acre Carter Lake in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains.
Close to the town of Berthoud and Loveland and about an hour away from the gateway to Rocky Mountain National Park in Estes Park.

We spent a week at Mary’s House and loved it! This house has been beautifully renovated with great lighting, lots of eating space, comfortable beds and a very well-equipped kitchen. It’s in a nice rural neighborhood (roosters crowing and birds chirping by day but very quiet at night), great outdoor space, and just a short walk to the lake swim area. Smooth and quick communication with the owner, Sarah. A must-stay!!!

We stayed here for our wedding week and it was the perfect place! Great location, beautiful drive in and out, and we loved that it was pet friendly so we could bring our dog! The house was very clean upon arrival and everything was very clearly labeled. The host was very quick to respond which was much appreciated. We would 100% stay here again!!
