Home Truths:
- This home allows pets for a fee. If undisclosed pets are brought into the home without AvantStay's approval there is a fine of $500 per pet.
- Please note, all persons (including infants, children and visitors) at the home are counted towards the total occupancy of the home. Guests cannot exceed the permitted occupancy at any time.
- Guests are responsible for disposing of trash at the local dumpsite in accordance with the City of Big Bear policy. Charges may apply if left on the property.
- Please note our occupancy includes an additional two beyond bed count. Trifold floor mattresses and additional linens can be provided upon request.
- AvantStay plows and clears the driveway and one pathway to the front door. We provide shovels for guests to use should they wish to clear paths on any other part of the property.
- Please note: This home does not have AC.
- Unfortunately, fireworks cannot be viewed from this house.

3 cars can park onsite.
This home comes with a pack n' play travel crib and a high chair available.

This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs.
As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.
Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees.
There is nothing more important to us at AvantStay than the health, safety, and experience of our guests & staff. We've enhanced our cleaning and sanitation protocols and are taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations with hospital-grade disinfecting solutions.
As a reminder, we do work with 3rd party vendors to maintain the property, and although we adhere to the strictest CDC guidelines and advise all contractors to wear PPE equipment, we can not always enforce. We strongly advise guests to please deny access if any vendors fail to meet and adhere to these standards.
IDs will be requested for verification after booking. All bookings over 30 days require a security deposit.
We report and prosecute all Credit Card Fraud.

This cabin was perfect for our girls trip! We each had comfortable, clean, queen or king size beds. The common areas were clean and comfortable. The updated kitchen was spacious and nice. Overall, the essentials were available. We would suggest some ziploc baggies or Saran Wrap and possibly a larger coffee pot(keurig was available as well). Numerous fans were helpful to cooling off the upstairs level during the day and by the end of the day, the temps were perfect. As mentioned in other reviews, the carpets could use a replacement due to stains but it didn’t feel unclean. The location was convenient to the village, the lake, and anything we needed. Thank you!

The property was very well suited for hosting our 8-member family and a milestone birthday party. Plenty of room for all and the bedrooms were very cozy. The large open main room had a huge table that allowed us to gather together for card games and late night visiting. The host should be more specific about what the kitchen has in the way of staples and utensils. The travelers should know to come well prepared with everything they may need for meal prep. Although, there are 2 very modern grocery stores within a 5 minute drive.

We were a little disappointed in the property. It wasn't awful, but you could tell that this is just another rental from a big commercial company that is trying to spend the least amount possible on upkeep. The yard was in very bad shape. The pine needles and weeds were inches deep. There were dog poop bags below the porch, and the trash can on the patio was full of garbage. Someone had locked a dog in the downstairs bathroom, and the door was all clawed up. Same thing in the living room. There is a corner near the fireplace that looked like a dog had tried to dig through the floor boards. One of the sinks in the upstairs bathroom was 100% clogged. We had to clean the clog in order to use it. The biggest disappointment was the main bedroom. There are no curtains on the windows, and they face an obnoxious house that has flood lights on all night. The lights were so bright that they cast shadows in the room. The owner of that house also plays his music loudly all day and pretty late into the evening, so we couldn't leave the windows open and enjoy the weather unless we wanted to listen to his music. There was definitely no sleeping in past 5am because the room is so bright. Some curtains, minor repairs, and a little more money on keeping things nicer would make a huge difference.
