The island of Vir is the best-kept secret in the Zadar archipelago, only 15 kilometres away from Nin and landmarks such as the smallest cathedral in the world and the magnificent Queen's Beach. Cultural heritage sites on this small island serve as a reminder that the hedonists who know how to enjoy the good sides of the Mediterranean discovered this island a long time ago, breathed life into it, and left many reminders of their presence. The numerous islands of the Zadar archipelago that surround Vir (Molat, Ugljan, Olib, Pag, etc.), as well as the many bays and perfectly preserved landscapes, make it a real paradise for boaters, while the hot sand of Vir beaches and the medicinal mud provide a cure for rheumatic ailments.
