Mai's Cabin located in Kerhonkson, Upstate, Catskills area. About 2 hrs drive from New York city. It's just a 10-minute drive to Minnewaska State Park and Mohonk Preserve, 15 mins to High Falls and Stone Ridge. 30 mins to Ashokan Reservoir. There are many farm stands, breweries, galleries, restaurants only mins away. Rock climbing, hiking/ biking trails ( bring your bike). Old Rail Trail only mins away from the cabin.. Or you can venture to Kingston, Woodstock, or other classic Upstate hamlets.

Loved everything about this place. It was the perfect place to unwind. Whimsical. Also, Mai was lovely and very responsive.

We had a wonderful visit in the Catskills at Mai’s cabin for Easter. The cabin feels larger than it is with well designed rooms offering great views of the woods from all directions. I enjoy cooking and it’s obvious the owner is a serious cook with a well stocked kitchen and accessories. All in all our family had a special time in kerhonkson and we highly recommend Mai’s cabin.

The cabin was perfect, with a wonderful cozy vibe, great common areas and tons of sleeping space. Instructions were easy and clear, we had a great time!

On the positive side the cabin was very clean. On the negative side, the neighborhood was mainly trailers and inadequate window coverings created a lack of privacy at night. There was no cable tv and the reception of Netflix and Samsung tv was intermittent. We were told to remove our shoes indoors and that there was no smoking, even on the outside deck. The towels were poor quality and there were no washcloths. There were no closets.
