We had a great time in Mount Crested Butte!

This might have been the best ski experience of my life. Great location, great weather, and great conditions.
That said, it was the worst check-in of my life. Since we didn't get any specifics from VRBO, we drove to our building and found no place to check in. I checked the VRBO ap and it gave another address (701 Gothic Rd) so we went there. The closed office had an after-hours phone in the lobby. I called and the girl who answered didn't know anything about us and said we had to contact VRBO. I sent a message on the ap and reread all the previous messages. In one of them there was a mention of a phone number to call if we had trouble. I called it and found that we had to check in at the Plaza Hotel desk (no mention of the Plaza prior to this). We got our keys at the Plaza and bad instructions on how to get to our condo. The lift-side condo requires trucking your luggage over the snow and only the next day did we find a much easier way to get there.
Once we got there we had a wonderful week.
