The staff was welcoming and very accommodating. The house was very clean. The food was absolutely AMAZING! The location is ideal for families with both young children and teenagers. The location is perfect for kayaking, snorkeling and riding jet skies. We had a family of 7 ranging in age from 16 to 58 and everyone had a wonderful time. We will definitely stay here for our next trip to Roatan.

Our group of 11 (4 adults and 7 kids ages 9-18) stayed at Vista Verde for the New Year Holiday. We had a fantastic experience and cannot say enough about this property. The option for having a full staff for the week was more than worth the cost. We had Annette as the business manager, Cristobal as the property manager, Albert as our Lunch & Dinner Chef, Jennifer and Berta as our Breakfast chefs and cleaning, and finally Casey as our beach assistant. The staff makes all the difference here, they turn this lovely house into a private all-inclusive mini-resort. The house is thoughtful crafted and decorated to maintain Honduran culture. There was plenty of sleeping spaces and bathrooms for our group of 11. Annette spoiled us and took care of everything from grocery shopping to reservations for excursions. The listing is accurate in all the available amenities including a jet ski, 2 boats, a Toyota 4Runner, 4 kayaks, snorkel equipment, etc. We highly recommend using Mr Dewey for his East End boat tour and West End land tour. We also recommend a day at Brady’s Key - all of this can be arranged through Annette. Everyone had a wonderful time on this trip, its hard to mention all the great details. Our stay at Vista Verde was perfect. The property is gorgeous and very well maintained. The staff could not have been better as they were very attentive and promptly took care of any issues that we had or anything that we needed. From local recommendations to helping us locate our favorite island foods! As with any island accommodation, you may experience some small power outages or internet outages, but there is still plenty to do and sometimes those distractions are not missed! Would definitely recommend staying here!

I’ll start with what I did not like about this property. The VRBO page does not tell you all electricity use is an extra charge. I was told a few days before my stay when I could no longer cancel my stay. In 3 days I paid $150+. The AC unit in the master bedroom did not work. We were unable to sleep the first night there because of it. I contacted the manager the following morning she sent someone to fix it. I was told it was fixed and turned it on again just to find out it was not fixed. I complained again and the AC was finally fixed. One of the reasons why I booked this property was because they had a golf cart. I had older family relatives who needed the golf cart to go down to the beach. When I checked in I was told there was no golf cart for us to us. They had an ATV BUT I needed one of the employees to drive us around, which was an inconvenience. There are only full/queen size beds at the home. My husband is 6’3 he does not sleep comfortable on a queen bed (his feet hang). On top of that, the bed is so old makes a lot of noise every time you move. We were provided two cellphones to use for our convenience. I was told I was going to be able to make phone calls with them. The first day we went out I tried using them but they did not have any minutes. After a long day trying to get to the island we were hungry. I had read on the advertisement they were going to welcome us with snacks etc,. When we checked in , I was welcomed with an apology about them not having any snacks. One of the days , they had a couple of gentleman working on the windows. I was not okay with this. The window replacement should’ve been done before my arrival, after my check out or with my permission. The property is about 1 hr away from the main attractions. I am rating this property as a rental property owner. I did not think this place was luxurious . I understand everyone has a different perspective of luxury and this was not it for me. The good things The property is beach front with a nice pool and hot tub. There is plenty of space to hang out. The view is beautiful. Ana has a ton of knowledge about the island. The chef’s cooking was great. House keeping lady gives a lot of attention to detail and leaves the house spotless. Juan is supper helpful. I booked the property for 8 people; unfortunately, 1 person could not make it. I was told I was going to receive a reimbursement for the person who could not make it . I am still waiting on it. Dania
