It was so relaxing. The happy hour was a big hit. And, we loved the free beach toy area. We were allowed to grab a few toys for the day and drop them off when we were done. It was a great experience. The staff were wonderful and very welcoming.

The entire property was clean and well-maintained, with a beautiful beach, beach chairs/umbrella, and a very nice pool. It is located within walking distance to a nice, well known restaurant, The Back Porch. There are other places of interest that are within walking distance also. I can not say enough great things about the manager and other employees at Destin Gulfgate. They were very friendly and helpful. They made excellent recommendations of the best places to eat, and answered any questions that we may have had. I feel that they went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and comfortable. There are numerous restaurants in the area, and we personally really enjoyed McGuire's Irish Pub, and Louisiana Lagniappe. I would definitely highly recommend this property to friends and family.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was perfect in every way. We loved the big balcony overlooking the ocean. Destin Gulfgate is the best place to stay in Destin and the Beach Service was excellent! We stayed 6 nights. I have stayed here before and love everything about it. My only complaint this time was that there was a large group of people staying together and the last two days on the beach, where I enjoy reading and listening to the ocean was dampened by the sound of very loud music with the base up and all I could hear was boom, boom, boom. I understand having a good time - but some people were very inconsiderate. Never had this happen before.
