The duplex is located at the end of a quiet Cul de sac in Zorzino, Riva di Solto, overlooking Lago d’Iseo with Monte Isola and the beautiful mountain Trentapassi. You have great vistas from nearly everywhere in the house, be it the living room, the kitchen, the balcony which wraps around the house facing south. The 3 bedrooms towards the north side overlook the garden and the hillside towards Solto Collina. There is a spacious private fenced-in parking area on the property fitting 2 cars. The villa was built in the 70s, is well kept, simple but cozy and has typical Italian features with retro-charme: a large living room, a small kitchen, 3 bed rooms (1 master bedroom, 1 bedroom with 2 single beds and 1 bedroom with a single bed) and a bathroom. The basement provides an additional bathroom and a spacious shaded seating area with a ping-pong-table. A beautiful garden with olive and fruit trees and a lawn provides ample space for kids to play.
It is tranquil, with nice italian neighbors in the houses around us.

Stunning views over the lake and the surrounding mountains. The property is charming and has a fantastic balcony which has far reaching views. We had one week here and would definitely return.

We had a wonderful time staying here. The accommodation is basic but it met our needs. The location is just stunning.

We had a fantastic stay. Aguina who met us was lovely, and the owners were quick to respond when we had trouble calling her mobile and a temporary problem with the wifi at the house.
Although fairly basically furnished (this is the reason for the 4 stars rather than 5), the house was spotlessly clean and had pretty much everything we needed. The view from the terrace, up the lake towards Monte Isola and beyond, was to die for and immediately relaxing and difficult to leave.
Local amenities were good, with bread and provisions within an easy walk or a short drive for a more substantial shop.
We found ourselves swimming, pedaloing and kayaking mostly on Lake Endine, again a relatively short drive away, but this was because we had our 10 year old son with us and Lake Endine is a bit more user friendly than Lake Iseo for messing about in and on the water. That said, we also kayaked from the water sports centre in Castro and swam from the beach at the Bogn a short walk from Riva di Solto, with it's impressive sheer rock backdrop.
Food wise - well it's Italy so you are spoiled for choice. Great pizzas to be had at the local sports centre down the hill and we had some splendid meals at El Guelfo up the hill. Christian the proprietor made us very welcome and took particular care to cater for our son who was keen to try the adult menu!
All in all a great holiday, and the house and location made the perfect base from which to explore.
