This modern, ground level, apartment is located in the heart of the Downtown Historic District, only steps away from Savannah's Famed Forsyth Park. This is the perfect getaway if you are looking for a modern getaway, either for an extended or short stay!
The garden apartment is on the ground level of this three-story town home and is accessed by from the street. Each square inch is carefully curated with the modern conveniences, and upgraded finishes. Entering into the living room, you'll find a large smart television, along with a comfortable sofa with queen size pull-out. Open to the living space, you'll find a fully equipped kitchen that features granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and all the tools you need to prepare home cooked meals.
The bedroom with Queen size bed is tucked away towards the back of the home, drowning out the sounds of the city for a restful night's sleep. The full bath with tub/shower combo is in the hall - easily shared by both set of guests on opposite ends of the apartment.
Guests are a short walk away from the Fountain at Forsyth Park, and a beautiful stroll from downtown's main attractions such as River Street, City Market, and Bay Street.

The kitchen is not well equipped. There aren’t even potholders and inexplicably, there are two working microwaves. If all you need to do in the kitchen is scramble eggs, boil water and make sandwiches, then it’s sufficient. If you want to do anything else, bring your own cookware and utensils. The cookware and utensils are poor quality and do not meet current safety standards for non stick cookware. The sink wasn’t clean and neither was the interior stove. The bathroom tub fixtures have hard water deposits on them and black mold that needs to be addressed at the tub drain and where the tiles meet the tub. The bed has a pillow top mattress pad that is not comfortable. Someone left behind a used sanitary face mask on the entry table.
