Master bedroom
The master bedroom, situated on the main floor, is a spacious and tranquil sanctuary. With ample light streaming in through large windows, it's bright and airy space. The room features a full bathroom with a tub, workstation, closet, and a comfortable king-sized bed, perfect for a restful night's sleep.
Loft bedroom
Ascend the cabin's charming wooden staircase to reach the loft bedroom. This open and inviting space offers a unique atmosphere with it's elevated vantage point and lovely river view. The loft bedroom boasts a cozy queen-sized bed, a half bath, a workstation, and a warm and rustic ambiance, making it a great choice for a productive day and a peaceful night's sleep.
Lower level bedroom
The lower level of the cabin is home to the third bedroom, providing an entirely different experience with its California king-sized bed. This multifunctional space is designed for entertainment, recreation, and exercise, making it an ideal retreat for guests of all ages. This bedroom offers a sense of privacy and seclusion. Amazing view and very well equipped. It was great for the kids, aged 4-15 with plenty to do inside and out. 30-45 minutes away from anything but wasn’t a deal breaker for us. Overall a great experience and even a better view. The master bathroom counter space was limited and there seems to be a dip in the center of the bed due to the bed frame setup. Very private and quiet location!

Our family is local to this area and we came for a celebration of My Grandparents anniversary. We wanted to be a little more remote so my adult children and I could spend some time together since we are spread out across the eastern US. The home layout was perfect for us, giving each their own space. Unfortunately it rained the entire weekend so we did not get to enjoy the outside as much as we would have liked although we did take advantage every chance we got. The home is quite remote so running out to have dinner is not a quick easy task. We had planned most of our meals at the home so we did not have to worry about multiple trips up and down the mountain. We do wish there were more appliances as we were making desserts to take to the event and we had to try to figure out how to make frosting without a mixer or a whisk. I did not think to ask the host about extra appliances like blenders mixers and certain cooking utensils so it was on me. We also forgot to bring board games that we had set out to take with us and with the rain we were really wishing there were more games at the house. Luckily you can pull up almost any game on your phone and that is what we did. All in all this was a nice stay and the host was great.

Oftentimes, the pictures of the property look better than real life, but not this place. The pictures don’t do justice to the gorgeous panoramic views and the all the great amenities that come with the property, including the hot tub and various games/activities! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cabin and plan to come back in the fall. This place is relatively isolated so it’s a perfect escape for those who seek privacy and peace surrounded by mother nature. To get to the cabin, there is a long stretch of narrow and winding road, some of which are unpaved, so you might want to check with the host before venturing out there with a minivan in winter. The host is very helpful and responsive and I had zero issues with the check in and check out process.
