Great neighborhood!

The apartment is indeed charming and comfortable! Full of nice furniture and artworks and a well-stocked kitchen and bath. The host, Marie-Gabrielle, is delightful and very welcoming. It felt as if we had a dear friend hosting us. The location is in a real (not overrun with tourists) neighborhood, with plenty of restaurants and bars nearby, as well as grocery stores, patisserie and a boulangerie. Goncourt Metro stop is on the corner. Easily walkable to the Canal Saint Martin, and a 20 min walk to Gare du Nord or Est. This is an ideal place for those looking to explore Paris.

Beautiful apartment in a truly Parisian neighborhood..not 100% tourist free but almost! Shops, bars, cafes, restos aplenty. 2 blocks off the Canal St. Martin. 7 minute walk to Place de la Republique. Lovingly decorated with art and rugs and furniture, unique and special. Marie Gabrielle is the warmest hostess… Absolutely with the mostest! We stayed a week and it was heartbreaking to leave. Will definitely return!!
