2026 Beach Update:
The City of Isle of Palms has approved a beach nourishment project expected to take place Summer–Fall 2026. While a final schedule has not yet been released, work is anticipated to move along the beach in sections, meaning any impact to a specific area is temporary.
We will share updates as more details become available and are happy to provide guidance based on your travel dates.

Welcome to one of the best oceanfront retreats in beautiful Wild Dunes on the Isle of Palms. This Charleston-inspired vacation home has plenty of charm with modern elegance in addition to 180 degree sweeping views of the Carolina coast, ocean and rolling dunes.
Enjoy the sounds of the surf and panoramic beach views from the spacious outdoor living room. Set up for both summer and winter living, this amazing space is incredibly inviting after spending the day playing in the waves or touring Historic Charleston.
The first level features an outstanding and handsomely equipped kitchen that is highlighted with all new appliances, cabinetry, and countertops. Adjacent to the chef’s kitchen is the dining area that seats six at the dining room table with additional seating for four at the bar. The classic coastal Charleston décor in the living room is not only beautiful, but comfortable. Oceanfront views can be enjoyed from the living room.
The Oceanfront Suite is located on the upper level. It features a king bed, private oceanfront deck, and en-suite bathroom with dual vanities and large walk-in shower. Bedroom two is on the upper level. It features a queen bed with a single vanity and bath-shower combination. Bedroom three is on the main floor and a king bed, workstation and a bathroom with a single vanity and large walk-in shower.

One assigned covered parking space.
One space in general parking area.
Beach Chairs and Umbrella:
The Isle of Palms Beach Chair Company will provide your family two classic wooden beach chairs and an umbrella when you stay seven nights (March– October). These are set up on the beach each morning for your family and removed each night by the crew at IOP Beach Chair Company.
Additional Amenities Include:
High speed internet with Wi-Fi.
Private outdoor shower and changing room.
Direct Check in at “Surfside Villa” at 8 Beach Club Villa.
Text and email status updates of accommodations on arrival date.
Office desk in bedroom three.
Washer and dryer.
Linens and bath towels are provided, as well as unique starter supplies including soap, shampoo, and paper products.

Ideally located, this beach house on the Isle of Palms is an easy drive to Sullivan’s Island, Mount Pleasant and Historic Charleston. Sullivan’s Island (7 miles) features Fort Moultrie and wonderful dining options along Middle Street. In Mount Pleasant (8 miles), your family will want to visit Boone Hall Plantation with its avenue of oaks, the USS Yorktown, Town Center shopping and the restaurants lining the shrimp docks on Shem Creek. Finally, Historic Charleston (17 miles) is the number one tourism destination in the United States and offers some of the world’s finest restaurants, galleries, historic homes and gardens.
Things to note:
Wild Dunes does not have a central resort pool for all visitors. Most neighborhoods and villa communities have their own private pool for guests staying in that specific area. Please note that the pools at the Hyatt Boardwalk Inn, Sweetgrass Inn, and the Sweetgrass Fitness Center are reserved exclusively for Hyatt hotel guests and are not available to vacation rental guests.
The Beach Club Villa Community Pool is open Seasonally: (April 1st - October 31st)
The Wild Dunes Community has a strict no pet policy for non-residents. Pets are not allowed within the gates of the community.

This property is one of the best beach rentals of which we have ever stayed! We had the smoothest check-in ever. The hosts were extremely specific in catering to all needs and they provided tons of necessary information to make our trip complete. The views were incredible from both the top porch and the bottom porch. The condo was squeaky clean from top to bottom (I am very particular about bathrooms). The kitchen was more than adequately supplied and laid out nicely. The decor was airy and light with the cutest touches such as shiplap walls, updated lighting, comfortable linens/mattresses and what appeared to be freshly painted walls. It was a short walk to the beach and the pool was just steps away. Everything was easy.I would stay at the condo again and again! Our family is so grateful that we stayed at this property. Bravo to the hosts and the owners for such a great experience!

We thoroughly loved our time and experience at this property on Isle of Palms. This was a perfect place for our family of 4 in a perfect location for our needs this holiday. The villa's kitchen was very well equipped with items for all cooking/baking needs. A short drive/walk to the pool (we did not use the pool but it was steps away), golfing/tennis/pickle ball locations, the small market which serves coffee and some breakfast items and an Italian restaurant. Within a 30/40 minute drive if a day in Charleston is on your list. Sullivans Island is even closer with more restaurants, shopping and things to do. The best part was the villa's extremely close access to the beach for early morning sunrises, just steps away. Michael and Erika were very helpful and attentive to our questions. We were even welcomed by handwritten note upon arrival, a very nice touch. Thank you for the opportunity to stay at this lovely property.
