Thierry was a great host, he helped us out above and beyond the call of duty. The location of the villa meant that a car was needed, but Thierry kindly picked us up one evening so our driver could have a night off, he also lent us a parasol and cool box for a day trip, as well as many other acts of kindness, nothing was to much trouble. He was also able to give us lots of suggestions for trips out.
The villa is quite quirky in its lay out, with the only bathroom being in the main bedroom and the second bedroom being outside on the terrace, but there is a bed settee in the lounge/ kitchen if you have young children. The villa had everything we needed for our stay and was very well presented, with very efficient Air-con. The outside area was lovely, with fantastic views, The pool area is not as private as it looks on the photos as Thierry house is next door with only a partial fence, but they were so discreet that it really wasn’t an issue. We had a lovely stay and would happily rent the property again if we went back to Guadeloupe.
