Located in Crouay, this welcoming vacation home brings it all within your reach. Jump into your car and make short work of the 20-minute drive to Omaha Beach or the 10-minute drive to Museum of the Battle of Normandy (and enjoy the property's convenient onsite parking in the meantime).

Relax in the garden (enjoy the outdoor furniture!) of this 646-sq-ft vacation home, which also offers a BBQ grill. For a change of scenery, come inside and enjoy the free WiFi and TV.

The kitchen is equipped with an oven, a stovetop, and a refrigerator, as well as a coffee maker, an electric kettle, and a microwave. Bathroom amenities include a hair dryer and toilet paper. Other amenities include an ironing board, heating, limited housekeeping, and a dining table.

The cottage is nestled in the heart of the Norman countryside, so it took a little navigating to find its location (Google maps seemed confused about how to get there). Nonetheless, we enjoyed the quaint, rural setting, and we were able to use the cottage as a base to make day trips to D-Day sites, Mont St. Michel, and both Bayeux and Caen. The property is constructed in a traditional Norman style, while still having modern amenities throughout. The property owners live on site, in an end unit, which allowed them to respond to questions, in person, in only a matter of seconds. They keep the property in excellent condition. We were able to meet the owners during our stay and they were both very pleasant and helpful. Given the opportunity, we would definitely stay again.

Nice property very well situated for the Bayeux Tapestry and D day beaches. Very clean and well presented. We had a nice bottle of local apple juice to welcome us. Very tasty.

This gite is perfectly placed for all D Day beaches and places of interest. A good, quiet place to come back to and reflect. It was beautifully clean and well presented and the hosts gave us a warm welcome & a lovely arrival gift.
