Lovely cabin for a getaway weekend!! The hot tub was an extra bonus. Very quiet and peaceful. We didn’t have the chance to float down the river because of weather but hosts are willing to shuttle you with their kayaks. Definitely would recommend to stay here!

We had an absolutely incredible stay at The Mother Goose cabin in Luray, VA. From the moment we arrived, it was clear this place was something special. The views alone are worth the trip—peaceful, scenic, and exactly what you want when you’re trying to unplug and recharge. The hot tub really made the experience. Whether we were relaxing after a day out or just sitting under the stars at night, it created the perfect setting for a quiet, memorable getaway. Everything about the property felt well thought out, comfortable, and inviting. We stayed here to celebrate our 20-year wedding anniversary, and it couldn’t have been a better choice. It gave us the kind of experience you hope for but don’t always find—private, beautiful, and genuinely relaxing. We’ll absolutely be coming back. Highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a peaceful escape with incredible views and a great atmosphere.
