Located less than 200 yards from the boundary of The Shenandoah National Park, and centrally located between 2 entrances to the Skyline Drive. Easy access to numerous hiking trails and waterfalls. Located only 10 miles from the World-Famous Luray Caverns, and only 3 miles from The Shenandoah River with numerous fishing, tubing, and canoeing outfitters nearby.

The cabin is on the mountain, about a half mile up a gravel/dirt road, which is steep and bumpy in certain areas. 4WD/AWD is the safest option both for clearance, and in case of any inclement weather. Many guests consider traveling up the mountain part of the adventure but be sure you are comfortable with this before you book.
TRAVEL INSURANCE RECOMMENDED. Please book Airbnb travel insurance to cover inclement weather cancellations.

We did a couples getaway. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. We never left the property. We made intricate meals using the very well stocked kitchen. While we didnt grill, it was very clean with extra gas tank. Stunning views of the valley.Highly recommend for a quiet retreat weekend.Great host!

The home was amazing with a breathtaking view! We really enjoyed the hot tub, fire pit, and stocked kitchen with all the cooking oil and spices you may need! The host was welcoming and open to communication our entire stay. We will happly book again if in the area!

Amazing view. Very nice deck and fireplace. House is nice but fairly basic. Price is slightly expensive for the area and number of bedrooms. But overall a nice place to stay

5 Stars doesn't seem to be enough for a rental of this stature. Reasons why I would stay here again; Communication, location, cleanliness, preparedness (standby generator), easy entry, views, views and the views. Reasons why I wouldn't stay here again; this paragraph was intentionally left blank.Deeper evaluation; Beds were on the firmer side. Driveway has plenty levelish parking.Long beautiful drive up the mountain that will require AWD or 4X4. I have been on many mountain roads and this one is challenging after a heavy rain. Take your time and you will be fine. It's not a race. Neighbors are close but you won't see them. We didn't even hear them. The views are way better in real life. So close to everything you want to see. Make sure to get a good dinner at Chop House Bistro in Luray.
