Our villa is located in Building C of the Sapphire Beach Resort and Marina, directly on beautiful Sapphire Beach. The villa is a two story unit occupying the 3rd and 4th floors of the building. Each bedroom has its own large screen LCD television. There is a large deck on each level with a breathtaking waterfront view. Start every day with breakfast on your deck overlooking St. John and the British Virgin Islands through the palm trees on the beach.
The villa was completely rebuilt in August 2014 and it is currently one of only a few two bedroom villas at Sapphire Beach Resort. Everything is brand new: the kitchen, the appliances, the bathrooms, the furniture and the mattresses, the light fixtures, down to door hardware and light switches. The villa is finished in a classic elegant style with granite countertops, Italian tile, rubbed bronze lighting fixtures, paintings of Italian Lakes and Greek Islands. The first floor has a kitchen, dining and living areas with large screen LCD TV, and a full bathroom. The kitchen has a large refrigerator, a cooktop, and a microwave oven. Also, our villa is one of very few at Sapphire Beach Resort that have a dishwasher. You might not realize what a huge plus it is until you stay in a unit without it! The second floor has two bedrooms and a bathroom. The villa sleeps 4 very comfortably. The first bedroom has a king size bed, and the second bedroom has two twin beds.
Despite its name, Sapphire Beach Resort is not a full service resort. It is a quiet condo community on a beach, which is usually not crowded. The property has a two tiered cascading waterfront swimming pool, a white sandy beach with crystal clear water, and a good snorkeling beach. Beach lounges and towels are provided for our guests. You can take a fishing, snorkeling or sailing trip to St. John or BVIs from the Marina on the property.
The villa is conveniently located at the East End of the island, less than a mile from the village of Red Hook with shopping, restaurants, and a Ferry Terminal. Passenger and car ferry to St. John leaves every half an hour. No passport is required for US citizens to visit US Virgin Islands of St. Thomas, St. John, and St. Croix. You will need one if you are planning to visit the British Virgin Islands.

We had a great time during our stay at Sapphire Beach! The unit was clean with comfortable beds, great views, nice bathrooms, and helpful extras like a clothes drying rack, insulated beach tote, beach towels, and even fins for snorkeling! Building C was perfect for us, since it was between the main restaurant area and the pool. The building was quiet and we enjoyed a peek at several beachfront weddings from our balconies! Our key-code did not work when we first arrived, but the host was very responsive and had it fixed within minutes. She was also able to accommodate us with a late check-out, which was extremely helpful for leaving our luggage in the unit while we met up with the rest of our family until it was time to check out and take a ferry to St. John (the on-site taxi stand is convenient). The beach never felt crowded even with plenty of other people around. We went out every morning and had the beach chair attendant bring some chairs to a shady spot, then enjoyed the day on the beach floating, snorkeling, and watching parasails soar by in the distance. Over the course of our stay we enjoyed smoothies from The Beach Buzz, pizza/shrimp/sandwiches from Paradise Pie, and a pricey but excellent meal at Sea Salt, all located close by on the property. Sudi's is also a short walk up the hill near the marina. We will definitely stay here again if we find ourselves back on St. Thomas!

Great Location! Spacious enough for 4 adults. Quick access to beach and pool. Taxi as well. The fish tacos at the beach bar are not to be missed as well.

The location and view are the main draw of this condo. The view cannot be beaten! Sapphire Beach is so pretty. My kids (11 & 14) preferred other beaches for swimming, but Sapphire was nice. The pool was a great when the kids were worn out with the beach. There are three restaurants in the condo & marina complex, so it is easy to get food quick when you are tired from a day in the waves and sun. Red Hook is close, so we dined out there as well. The condo was clean and comfortable for our family and we had a great time.
