.At the foot of the remains of the Artias castle, in the gorges, of the Loire on the GR3F in a green setting come and discover this comfortable and bright cottage with a capacity of 8 people. The latter on two levels, consists of a kitchen open to the living room with terrace. Upstairs you have large bedrooms with mezzanine overlooking the ruins of the castle of Artias, sanitary facilities on each floor.

Come and discover the land of juices, the first castles of the Loire, the hiking path of the Loire gorges, that of Saint Jacques de Compostela. Water activities at 3 kms. Shops in the village of Retournac at 3 kms Gite de France 3 épis. Swimming pool on site.

We loved the gite, it was clean, everything was well catered for and it had a great setting. Michel and Martine were great hosts and left us to enjoy our holiday but were around if we needed them. We had a very relaxing and enjoyable holiday and would recommend to friends to stay there and we would gladly go back. The rugby matches we saw in St Etienne were great, fantastic atmosphere and great to watch with people from so many different countries attending.

We had an amazing vacation, the pool was cleaned everyday and the gite is beautiful with all you would need for a lovely stay. The nearby villages and historical sites are amazing. The hosts are extremely helpful even though our French wasn't very good! We will practice and learn ready for our next trip. Merci beaucoup nous manquons deja nos vacances.

Lovely, clean and quiet place outside a very nice little village. The pool was clean and our four kids loved it. Michel and Martine were very helpful and friendly. We will definitely come back 😊

We spent a great (and too short) moment with Michel and Martine. Their renovated farm offers great indoor and outdoor space for adults and kids who can have fun in their huge garden (with swings), learn from their vegetable garden, feed the horses and donkeys and of course cool down in the new pool very welcoming when the summer is hot as it was for us.
We didn't have a lot of time for activities around but Michel had a lot of exciting ideas and tips he was very willing to share.
The house was perfectly clean, charming and functional.
We will be happy to come back.
