Direct access to the canal offering beautiful walks by bike or on foot with a bike path along the seafront.
Ideally located to visit the Normandy beaches and the mythical places of the D-Day.
You will be able to easily reach all the tourist sites of the region (Pegasus Bridge, Omaha Beach, Arromanches, Caen, Bayeux, Honfleur, Mont Saint Michel at 1H30)
Description of the accommodation:
On the ground floor: open kitchen fully equipped with dining area.
1 bedroom and 1 bathroom with shower, sink and toilet.
Upstairs: living room with fireplace overlooking 1 bedroom and bathroom with bath, sink and toilet. (recessed bed in the floor / bathtub under slope)
Outside: pretty terrace closed wall without vis-à-vis with garden furniture, garden table, deckchair, barbecue.
Namely: the bathrooms are quite small
Geographic location :
Beaches nearby: Ouistreham 5min by car (or bike), Merville Franceville 10min, Cabourg 15min, Deauville 40min.
A few hundred meters from one of the most important sites of the Landing: the bridge of Pegasus Bridge and its museum.
Close to other sites and landing beaches (battery Merville Franceville, Ranville military cemetery, Omaha Beach 40 min, Colleville sur mer ...)
15 minutes from Caen, discover the charm of this city, its castle, the men's abbey, its memorial, and its historic city center to stroll and go shopping.

Additional information: a deposit of 450 € is required at the entrance to the accommodation (check for tenants resident in France and cash for foreign renters) and will be returned the day of departure.

This was indeed a "Charming Town House"!! Cozy would be another way to describe this home away from home. The rooms while small, suited our needs just fine. Beds were very comfortable and the kitchen well stocked for our breakfast needs. Loved the walk up the street to the excellent restaurants (we ate at Manoir' Hastings & Les 3 Planeurs) as well as the stroll along the river to the Pegusus Bridge. We traveled as 2 couples. We were glad we arrived during the day light as finding the exact building and knowing where to park was not clear to us. In hindsight we should have asked for clearer directions. Perhaps also a host consideration.Thank you Audrey for sharing this special space with others!

Very nice place , the kitchen is literally fully equipped whit anything you may need , is situated on a cul de sac street so no traffic, the shops are closed 4 mins to 7 mins drive , 2 bakeries nearby, one is on the top of the street, and close to most of every WW2 site or museum, definitely a good place to stay

This was such a wonderful place to stay, and exceeded all our expectations for our vacation spot in Normandie!The townhouse is so homey, yet tidy and very clean, and was well stocked with anything you might need on a holiday. The location is fantastic and we had such a fun time in Normandie exploring the small town where the home is located, as well as the Canadian D Day beach, Juno Beach, and Mont St. Michele and St. Malo. It’s such a convenient location and easy to get to and from, from the various connecting highways. The beds were extremely comfortable and the bathrooms were perfect for us. Check in and check out was a breeze, and we are already dreaming about returning to this lovely spot! Thank you for the memorable and comfortable holiday in Normandie!

The living room on the second floor merges into the second floor bedroom..The second floor bed is sunken and you need to roll out and into bed to get in it.and the hot water heater is mounted to the wall over the first floor bathroom toilet making it tough not to hit your head when using the toilet.
