Welcome to the Sasquatch Cottage! This home is perfect for a small family or just a chill weekend away with friends. Large & private lot in Glacier Springs. Perfect getaway for any time of year. Close to Mt. Baker Ski Area. Lots of light/windows, a large open living room/dining room/kitchen. The sauna and deck are easily accessed from the side entrance. Enjoy the outdoor fire pit on chilly nights. This beautifully built single story vacation home features 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and is located just between Maple Falls and Glacier in Washington...Only 4 miles in either direction to restaurants, bars, quaint mountain towns. Enjoy the local area- Olympic National Forest, Lakes, Creeks, Waterfalls, Hikes, Mountain Views, and Glaciers!
Safe for babies/toddlers (pack & play included with stay).
Recently updated kitchen appliances and most cookware/kitchen items that you could need.
Gas stove and fireplace stove (works if power goes out).
Washer/dryer in the mudroom with a second entrance.
No pets or smoking allowed so it is a great place to stay if you have allergies to either.
Amenities include Sauna, wifi, TV, DVD player, boardgames, large yard, and river access from the back of the neighborhood.
Neighborhood note about the water system : Our cabin is nestled in the Glacier Springs neighborhood, as the name implies the water supply originates from a natural spring, providing water to all cabins and homes. Although the spring generally offers award-winning water, occasional precautions necessitate boiling drinking water. Upon arrival, check for any posted notices at the Glacier Springs entrance. The current notice states to boil for safe drinking water as of Feb 2023 through current/today.
Nearby activities include snowboarding, skiing, cross country skiing, fishing, hiking, whitewater rafting, mountaineering, kayaking, canoeing, swimming, bird watching (bald eagles), wildlife viewing, sightseeing, water sports, wine tasting (Mt. Baker Vineyards), casino, shopping.
Located only 35 minutes east of Bellingham, WA, 2 hours to Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, 1 hour to Vancouver, BC, 30 minutes to Abbotsford, BC. Only 45 minutes to Bellingham International Airport.

We were in town for a wedding and found this house close to the venue. Quiet, serene area to relax with family. The kitchen had all the needed amenities. The bed and pillows in the master room were not the most comfortable but we managed. We did enjoy the games!!Although we had no choice but to pay for damage insurance or a large deposit (I’ve never encountered this with any of our other rentals), we would definitely stay again.

Excellent value for a stay in the area. The space is very spacious with plenty of extra sleep options beyond the king and queen beds. Check in process and check out we're completely smooth; no direct messaging needed! We loved the front porch on a warm sunny spring day!

We had a wonderful stay and would stay again! It has everything we needed and so much more! It was very clean. Beds are super comfortable and I loved the gas fireplace! We didn’t have enough time to enjoy the sauna but it looked great! About 35 mins from Mt Baker for skiing, quiet neighborhood. Perfect location for skiing! Kitchen was well stocked! Gina was amazing and responded quickly. The rental had lost power the day we were checking in and she notified me immediately. The power was back quickly so it was a non issue. Gina is very responsive.

We enjoyed the property, but the bedding and decorum needs updating. The pillows in particular were uncomfortable. I suggest an interior and comfort update would go a long way to make this great property worthy of a great review.
