Welcome to The Alpine Haven, your peaceful mountain retreat nestled in the heart of Colorado's breathtaking San Juan Mountains. Whether you're planning a ski vacation, fly-fishing adventure, hiking trip, ATV weekend, or simply looking for a quiet escape to reconnect with family and friends, you'll feel right at home here.
Our beautifully updated cabin combines modern comforts with classic mountain charm. Large picture windows fill the home with natural light while showcasing the surrounding mountain scenery. Enjoy the privacy of a quiet neighborhood with no homes directly in front of the cabin, allowing you to truly relax and take in the beauty around you.
Wake each morning with a cup of coffee on the spacious front porch while watching the sun come up and illuminate the Sangre de Cristo mountain range. See hummingbirds, deer, and the occasional fox wander through the area. In the evening, gather around the fire pit beneath an incredible blanket of stars, grill dinner on the propane grill, or simply unwind in one of the Adirondack chairs after a day of adventure.

• Spacious Loft with Two Queen Beds
• Fully equipped kitchen with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, gas range, cookware, spices, coffee maker, and everything needed to prepare meals.
• Comfortable living room with Smart TV for streaming your favorite shows.
• High-speed Wi-Fi throughout the cabin.
• Dedicated workspace with desk and comfortable chair for remote work.
• Split-unit air conditioning keeps the cabin cool during the summer while the propane fireplace creates the perfect cozy atmosphere in the winter.

This is a great place to stay if you're heading to Creede (about 30 minutes) or Great Sand Dunes National Park (about 75 minutes). The couch and king bed are really comfortable, which help after a long day of hiking. The stars at night were beautiful, and it was lovely starting the mornings on the front porch with a fresh cup of coffee. The area is very quiet, but you're a short drive from some good coffee and restaurants in South Fork. Would stay again!

Only thing was hard to keep room warm as we had a little one with us and we really had to watch him from touching the stove. Maybe like a steel or some type gate that keeps it enclosed more for being touched. Otherwise very bice and clean!

This was an amazing cabin!The esthetic was so warm and cozy and peaceful! The view outside the master bedroom allowed you to catch the sunrise every morning! The hosts were informative and responsive prior too, during and even after checkout! We can’t wait to visit again!
