Huckleberry House is one of the oldest homes in North Wales and was originally constructed by Isaac Wampole, Jr. in 1877. His family was notably involved in the construction of key roads that connected Montgomery County to Philadelphia. His family were well-recognized figures of local society and public service, and he served as a burgess for the borough.

As soon as you enter the first-floor apartment, you're welcomed by an open living room and dining area. As you continue into the apartment, there is a well-equipped kitchen perfectly designed for entertaining and breakfast chats. As you walk through the kitchen, you walk out onto a private backyard deck, with ample seating for outdoor dining. The backyard is fully fenced for the comfort and privacy of you and your furry friends. The backyard also comes equipped with a charcoal grill and fire pit, perfect for burgers and smores.
After a hard day’s work or play, make your way to our two comfortable bedrooms, designed to offer all the rest you need.

This was perfect for our family and 2 dogs. It was a nice area, we could walk to restaurants and enjoyed the options. The fenced in yard was a bonus! The place was clean and roomy enough for us to hang out and play games.

- Very clean and cozy! I would rent this unit again.- Easy to get to with ample parking in the ally behind the unit.- Kitchen, living room, & bedrooms are good sized so you don't feel cramped at all.- Bathroom is a bit tight with one sink, FYI.- The closest in BR #2 was locked & when I inquired the message I got back said I was welcome to use the closet in the other BR, as the BR #2 closet was for the maid! This despite the listing clearly stating that BOTH BRs had closets for guest use:Bedroom 2 Queen Bed with Pillows, Linens, and Sheets Closet with Hangers and Shelves Night Stands with Reading Light Additional seating Iron and Ironing Board- There is a fire station really close by as well as a SEPTA station so the window AC units came in very helpful for white noise at night.- If someone rents the unit above this one you will hear them, FYI.- Laundry is in the basement with a separate entrance. - All in all a really nice place with main street shops just a block or two away.- Also, Parkside Place Park is super close and provided for a nice evening stroll.

King bed was terribly uncomfortable and the queen wasn’t much better. Towels are pathetic. No extra towels were found as described. The living room furniture was not comfortable. No TVs in either bedroom. Checkout instructions were onerous considering we’re charged 145 for cleaning and we basically had to do most of the work, we I’ll not return
