Escape from crowded city life to this beautiful, secluded country estate, a historic ranch home on fifty acres near Lincoln, New Mexico. Immerse yourself and your family in healthy outdoor activities during your stay. Home comfortably sleeps 14 and includes 4100 square feet of living space. The property has a large beautiful backyard for relaxation or play. Wildlife on the property consists of wild turkeys, barbary sheep, deer, and peacocks. Visit museums in nearby Lincoln. Capitan, NM, home of the famous Smokey Bear, is within 20 miles. Ruidoso and Ski Apache are within 40 miles of home.

We really enjoyed staying on the ranch! The wildlife and scenery were fantastic and the home was comfortable and met our needs. The hosts were prompt in answering our questions and provided useful information. We would definitely stay here again!

Our third stay. New Mexico history comes alive here. It feels like we are guests of Sheriff Brady in the 1870s. We saw turkeys, peacocks, wild goats and pigs. Lots of birds. There is a pond fed by a natural spring. I got the feeling of the way our ancestors lived in this wonderful mountain retreat. Can't wait to return.

The host was very responsive and welcoming. The area is beautiful and relaxing perfect to spend a birthday or a holiday here this is a great place for anyone who appreciates on older home that is preserved and for someone who likes the outdoors and doesn’t mind to drive a long distance.
