A tranquil setting, convenient to the Rocky Mountain National Park and to the town of Estes Park. A five minute drive will put you at the Rocky Mountain National Park entrance. Five minutes will also get you to the center of downtown Estes Park. Most restaurants are within ten minutes and all of the fine dining within fifteen minutes of this property.
This 2700 square foot home sits at an elevation of 8200 feet at the base of Rams Horn Mountain. Natural beauty and Wilderness are right outside the door.
We have named our mountain house 'Dream Lake' after one of our favorite hiking trail stops. Hiking trails in Rocky Mountain National Park to Emerald Lake and Lake Haiyaha take us past Dream Lake.
Large Decks with mountain views and log furniture chairs and tables to seat several guests.
Gigabit Internet, Secure Wireless network anywhere in the house and on the decks. Internet computer provided for guest use.Wireless printer with scan and copy.
The hot tub is a Sundance Altamar 850 that seats up to six, and runs year round 24/7.
A well equipped kitchen with everything needed to prepare and serve a Thanksgiving or Christmas dinner.

The theater has its own tv tuner,120 channels of satellite tv, This theater is very unique as you can view the mountains and wildlife while you are watching movies or TV!
Xbox 360 with controllers and games. Four rock band wireless guitars (including the Fender Mustang) with wireless drum set and key board.
Xbox 360 Kinect with games on a separate X-box console so you don't have to change connections.
We have about twenty video game titles at this time with all the popular rock band, Guitar hero, Halo,Kinect, and Wii games.
Maximum number of guests is twelve, that number includes infants and lap children. The county's strict short term rental rules set the number.
Vrbo counts sleeper sofas and pac-n-plays as beds. This is misleading as there are seven "proper" beds, not eleven, like some of the vrbo information says. Three kings, one queen, and three twins. There is one queen size sleeper sofa and one twin size sleeper sofa in the theater room. a twin size roll away is in the down stairs laundry room and it can be moved anywhere downstairs. There is a twin mattress under the twin bed in the downstairs "barn door" bedroom that can be placed anywhere as needed.
There are two "pac-n-play" cribs that can be put anywhere in the house. there are two "dream on me" mattresses for the pac-n-plays and bedding.

I cannot say enough about how great this rental was. Everything we could possibly need for our large group of three small families was there for us. So much helpful info about the property was provided by the host. We were just minutes from downtown Estes Park and the entrance to RMNP. The host was so helpful with information to us about timed entry into the park which was required starting the day we got there. Thank you!!!!There’s a nearby lake to walk to, as well as trails that part of our party got to run. The house is a little dated but in a way that feels very comfortable. It felt very real-life homey. The only note we had was that the temperature was a little hard to control in the house, but it didn’t cause too many problems. The baseboard heat in the basement helped a little at night but it was still very chilly down there. I bet later in the summer it is not as much of an issue.

We enjoyed the hot tub in the mornings watching the sunrise with coffee, deer, and elk as they came down near the yard. A large bull elk was near the lake one day. Easy in & out to town and RMNP. Lots of beds to rest our heads! Thank you to a great host for answering our questions when needed.
