Hotel Sarhad Bukhara

One of the best places we stayed in Uzbekistan. Spotless clean, big room, welcome like friends, excellent service and the breakfast was just perfect with healthy choices and lots of fresh fruits, really appreciate as a vegetarian. I've travelled to 70+ countries over the past 60 years of travel and Hotel Sarhad is the very best hotel experience I've had. I've stayed at magnificent palaces in India and 6 star resorts on the islands but this hotel tops them all! Why? The incredible hospitality of the family running the hotel, particularly the owner and his wonderful son Fatikh. Fatkh had every aspect of our comfort top of mind but he's the most engaging and well mannered 15 year old we've ever met. He's been learning English the past 9 months and loves to learn unique idioms from guests from different English speaking countries. The rooms are super comfortable with great lighting, good airco, a big desk to make working super easy and lot's of outlets. The hotel and rooms feature stunning modern Uzbek designs and textiles. Breakfast was beautiful and delicious with some of the best tasking fruits and vegetables we've ever had!. Enjoy all the comforts of the facilities but be spoiled by the hospitality.

This is a recent, family-run hotel with 19 rooms that just opened about a year ago. It offers excellent value for money: it is super clean, the service is great and the breakfast met all expectations. Both the rooms and the building itself are tastefully designed in a traditional Bukhara style. I would not stay anywhere else the next time I am in Bukhara.
