The Hartland Heritage Coast (6 miles) offers wonderfully rugged walks with breathtaking views across the northern reaches of both Devon and Cornwall. Local attractions inland include the Tamar Lakes Activity Centre, Dunsdon National Nature Reserve and Dunsland, all within 12 miles. The historic village of Clovelly is to the north (9 miles) while Bude, 11.5 miles to the west, is known for its glorious beaches.
