Great value

Quiet and clean

The street was unappealing

Good all-round value and basic. Ideal if you need somewhere to rest and are just visiting.

This was a self-contained room with own bathroom. There is no kitchen here as all the rooms were converted into ensuite. I needed somewhere to rest after a charity walk. It is practically in the town centre, very close to shops.

I found getting in a bit tricky, the code at the door didn't work. I had returned at 2:00 am after doing the Rotherham Midnight Hospice Walk. The backup is a key that can be accessed via another code. I had to knock until someone let me in.

Unsafe, Unclean,Uncomfortable and shabby place

There is nothing which would I say i liked about

Bed was too stinky...one miserable incident happened with me is ,guest staying in the next room was making uncomfortable noise whole night till morning ,,Could not sleep over night. Place is so dark and feels unsafe completely. I would not recommend atleast for girls who are travelling alone

A challenge

The shower was clean and had plenty of hot water. The staff and resident guest tried their best to help me. It was walkable to Rotherham centre. Once I got the hang of the codes it felt safe.

It would be easy to dismiss this place as bad, but I want to be constructive. I was assigned to room 4 which appeared to be nicer than room 3 which ,for a few complications, is where I ended up. It lacked many things and was a challenge. It had no coat hangers, no hooks, no proper mirror ,no cup or glass and the toilet seat was not secure .There was nowhere close to the bed where I could place and plug in the table lamp. The worst thing was the state of the bed . It gave way on the side closest to the shower room. I fear that soon someone will go right through it. Constructive criticism --- If the owners are serious about offering this room 3 on Booking.com and getting decent reviews a new bed is a must . I would suggest a single bed to enable a revamp. A few cheap hangers and hooks, a chair, possibly changing the layout so that the bed does not completely cover the radiator and enable a small bedside cabinet for the table lamp could make it quite acceptable. I wish the owners good luck because I do feel they mean well.
