Comfy beds, friendly reception staff.
Location wasn't ideal for me, being right on a busy and noisy main road. Very noisy and I didn't sleep well. Confusion around check out. Booking said 11am but I had housekeeping banging on my door while I was showering at 10am asking me to leave. This could be communicated better. Looked like AI was used for hotel photos,looks quite different on arrival.

On my request they provided me a lower bunker bed, staff was really sweet and helping. Hostel is pretty fancy :) with lockers, full length mirror, hot water, body wash
Dorm mates kept on talking till 11PM, I had to request them to discuss their planning outside. They had food in the room yapping about their day without a care. Some hostels/zostels do have rules on maintaincing silence after 10PM which helps other travellers who have early start

Excellent location if you are just staying a night on your way to somewhere else - on main road near mall lift. Helpful, nice staff
Slightly old and grimy - just like the rest of Shimla so perhaps no fault of theirs as the whole of Shimla is the same

The staff were accommodating with getting a taxi and helping me find a printing service.
The rooms are dirty, the fan is loud making it difficult to sleep and there is a lot of traffic noise.
