We stayed a few days in this villa in Briatico. The neighborhood is calm with lots of greenery. Since the house is semi-attached, there's a shared wall with one neighbor, who was occasionally noticeable but not a real problem during our stay. The beach is a 3-5 minute walk away: small, clean, and quiet. In September we mostly had it to ourselves. There are other nice beaches and towns worth visiting nearby, such as Tropea and Pizzo, but we ended up preferring our local beach for its privacy. The house has a fully equipped kitchen, an outside grill, and covered outdoor sofas in the garden, which we particularly enjoyed in the evenings. The pool is small and not really meant for swimming laps, but it's clean and works well for cooling off or for kids to jump in. AC is installed and functional, though we didn't need it in September. The master bedroom has a balcony with a view over the bay. There are three bathrooms in total, including an outside shower, toilet, and washing machine.

The two indoor showers can feel small if you're a larger person, but the enclosed outside shower compensates for this. A car is recommended, as shopping and getting around without one is possible but not very convenient, though the house is also reachable by train, with about a 10-minute walk from the station.
