We had a lovely stay. Steve and Susan were such sweet and genuine hosts, they really went above and beyond to make us feel taken care of. They prepared homemade pastries, corn on the cob, fresh fruit, snacks and lots of beverage options for us to enjoy throughout our stay. Home was cozy and clean and had everything we needed; lots of movies, a beautiful record player and board games to entertain guests of all ages. The combination of being by the water and having a star full of stars at night made it a peaceful and magical experience.

The space was a little smaller than we expected but was no issue overall for our trip.

Beautiful location so close to the water. Susan and Steve were wonderful hosts and provided a breakfast and amenities that were above and beyond. Not your average Airbnb, but rather a unique and homey experience where you’re taken back in time and get to enjoy many unique furnishings and art. You can just arrive with little and have what you need to adventure Gabriola. Thanks for the great family getaway.

Wonderful location right on the water. The hosts a very friendly and helpful. The breakfast food was exceptional including good quality coffee
