The family here was so sweet and so welcoming, I really felt like I was at home. I didn't get their names, but it actually felt like the lady was my mom, she was so comforting and sweet, and because I'm solo travelling, this was so nice. Every time I had a question, they replied straight away, and we were easily able to communicate with translation apps. Everything was spotless and completely clean and in great condition—the bathroom was clean, the shower was nice, the beds were comfortable, and the kitchen / small living area was really pleasant. All the windows could be opened if you wanted some fresh air, and air conditioning was provided so you can be comfortable. When there was an issue with the stove not working, they set up a temporary stove for me and helped me to use it, which was so sweet. They also offered to bring me kitchen utensils and pots if I needed it. Just be aware that the property is on a hill so if you're older, you should get a taxi. The apartment was a 20-minute walk from the train/bus station and a 15-minute walk away from a huge grocery store. It's also a 15-minute walk away from the Muzej tram stop and a bus stop, so you can get to the Old Town within half an hour.

The location was close to the US embassy. It was a quiet stay and the hosts were lovely.

The location is up a hill so it is an exercise if you walk.
