A beautifully presented and spacious cottage overlooking the Alaw Estuary, with scenic walks straight from the doorstep. The local shop and friendly pub are only a short walk away.. 1 step to entrance.

Kitchen area: Electric Oven, Electric Hob, Microwave, Fridge/Freezer, Dishwasher, Washing Machine
Bedroom 1: Kingsize (5ft) Bed
Bedroom 2: Zip And Link 2 x Single (3ft) Beds
Shower Room: Walk-In Shower, Heated Towel Rail, Toilet. Oil central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Travel cot and highchair. . Front garden with sitting-out area and garden furniture. Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking. Please note: There is an unfenced lake 300 yards away.. Once inside Branwen you’re greeted by a very spacious open-plan living, kitchen and dining room, fully equipped with everything you’ll need for a comfortable stay. The outside area overlooks the fields where you may spot the resident goat. There’s a kingsize bedroom and a twin room, which can also be made into a super king on request. The shower room has a modern walk-in shower.
Alaw Estuary is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, set on the owner’s farmland, a truly breathtaking setting affording wonderful walking, birdwatching and fishing. There are many special beaches within easy reach, you’ll be spoilt for choice of which ones to explore. This special island has 125 miles of coastline to explore, and you’ll be spoilt for choice along the way regarding which famous sites to visit. There are miles of coastal paths to explore where you can take in the magnificent scenery whilst spotting the local wildlife.
You are just a short drive away from some of the island’s famous sites, such as South Stack Lighthouse. You can take a boat trip at certain times of the year to visit Puffin Island! The Rib Ride boats also run from various locations across the island for most of the year and offer a fascinating insight into the history and the local wildlife. There is something for everyone of all ages to enjoy in this diverse region no matter your interests.

We had a lovely holiday. The property is in a scenic, quiet location. We had views of the sheep, goats & chickens from the living area. The property is of a lovely design, very clean and very well appointed. The beds were very comfortable and the open plan works well. It is very spacious. The only slight issue for us was the very patchy wi-fi which made TV streaming difficult at times. We would definitely choose this property again.

Fantastic stay at Branwen. Very clean,fantastic location and the neighbours were fab ( goats and chickens) our dogs were fascinated with them 😊. Lovely pub just down the lane and a great spar shop. We went to three different beaches which dogs and us loved. We will definitely be going back to this beautiful bungalow 5*

Fabulous place to stay. Very large accommodation. Just what we needed for us and our three little pooches. Very clean and welcoming when arrived. Everything you need within the accommodation. Very modern, but with quirky bits of pieces of furniture, here and there. Very well thought out property overall. Wonderful to see the resident goats and chickens every day too! Would love to come back in the summer, as I bet the scenery is stunning there. Would like to explore more out and about around the property itself, as I bet it has some beautiful walks around there too. Sadly, the weather just wasn’t quite good enough for us to do this. Would definitely recommend this property and also will be booking again for certain. Thank you so much to Jane for a wonderful stay.
