The 199 Steps, a Whitby icon, lead to unforgettable views and an appreciation of the town’s maritime heritage. Beyond Whitby, there’s much to explore.

Nearby Robin Hood’s Bay enchants visitors with its quaint, steep streets and smuggler history. Venture to the North York Moors for scenic walks and picture-perfect villages such as Goathland, famous as “Aidensfield” in Heartbeat.
