Please note, Hurricane Ike forever changed the footprint of Bolivar Peninsula, therefore some homes listed as beachfront may have a lot and/or street in front of it. This is the result of the uncertainty following the storm where some property owners elected to participate in the government buy out of lots that fell in what later would be considered within the vegetation line established by the State of Texas and subsequently included as part of the public beach. Not all property owners participated. Those homes where the property in front of it are part of the buyout are considered beachfront even though to the east or west of it there may be a home closer to the beach.

After our hours on the beach, we enjoyed sitting on the deck to watch the night action. The Sheriff’s Department was visible and active in safety on the beach. The proper was as described and very clean. Cobb Realty was very professional and friendly. I would recommend this rental to a friend and would rent it again. The restaurants, grocery stores, and shopping was close to the rental. We did rent a cart because the beach was very crowded so we had to go further for a spot to set up our cabana and chairs. The cart rental place delivered and picked up our cart. Very convenient. We had a wonderful stay!

The view of the beach was perfect! Super easy communication and check in. We had a great time and will stay here again when we come back!

Property was nice. Location was nice. It was a lot of fun to watch the beachgoers come and go. The only problem we had was the front door door handle. It was loose and didn’t wanna lock and the door stay shut. Other than that. It was nice could’ve used the lift, but it was nice.
