Stay: 6/4-6/7The house was easy to find. The host sent plenty of messages to make sure we didn’t go down the neighbor’s driveway. Once we got there, the check-in process was very smooth. The house was quite clean. We found out that the A/C units hadn’t been installed yet despite the listing saying that they get installed early June. It took several hours for the upper floor to cool down enough that people could comfortably sleep upstairs. By opening windows and turning the fans on full speed, we got the temperature to go down. The host responded the next day and was able to offer compensation for the miscommunication. The beds were comfortable, bathrooms were clean, and there were plenty of blankets and towels for all guests. The washing machine and dryer were more worn down and less well-kept but still functional. Parking was easy, and we had no issues there. They were even able to accommodate for a late checkout. Overall, it was a solid stay with a kind and accommodating host.

What a beautiful, clean home in a nice nature setting. Beds were comfortable, plenty of space to spread out. About 25 mins from Bar Harbor. Nice restaurants in nearby Ellsworth. Would definitely stay again.

The house was perfect for 3 couples. Plenty of room to enjoy a meal, play a game or spread out when we wanted to. Nice and cozy and covenient location.
