Located near Mount Pleasant Mills, this 3-bedroom house offers a quiet rural setting at the base of Shade Mountain. With 1 queen bed and 2 twin beds, guests can relax in comfort. Amenities like WiFi, AC, and heating are provided for convenience. It's just a ten minute drive to Susquehanna University in Selinsgrove, a lovely college town on the banks of the Susquehanna River with shopping and fine dining, half an hour to Bucknell University, 45 minutes to Knoebel's Grove Amusement Park, and an hour from Penn State University . . . and so much more! Lovely rustic location in the woods. Stream is just beyond the fire ring. Nice outdoor space. We enjoyed our stay! Close to the Bald Eagle State Forest and hiking trails. Neil was quick to reply to communications.Note for anyone with kids who may wander the property - there is poison ivy - so be sure to know how to id it!!

The surrounding area of this cottage is beautiful, private and very quiet and the creek in the back is its best attribute. I have stayed at several vrbos over the years and this one felt more like a camping cottage on a camp ground than a vrbo home. We were surprised to find it was heated by an electric fireplace in the main room which was broken upon arrival. The hosts did a good job of getting it fixed the next day but it was a cold night. Most of the accommodations felt like items picked up from a yard sale. Overall it was pretty clean and we were grateful for a place we could bring our small dog.
