Bedroom 1: Double (4ft 6in) Bed Ensuite: Bath With Shower Attachment, Toilet
Bedroom 2: Double (4ft 6in) Bed, Single (3ft) Bed Ensuite: Shower, Toilet. Electric heather, electricity, bed linen and towels included. Woodburner (initial fuel included). Garden with lawn, sitting-out area and garden furniture. Shared 15-acre natural grounds. Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking. Please note: Unfenced pond in ground, 100 years. This property has a security deposit of £100.. Tucked away in a quiet, rural location, Honeypot Cottage provides an oasis of peace and tranquillity. Surrounded by open countryside and the owners’ farmland, this detached holiday cottage has been renovated to a very good standard, with a delightful, private, south-facing, lawned garden, as well as use of the owners’ grounds. Just 1 mile from the sleepy mid-Suffolk village of Metfield, which has an excellent community shop, it makes an ideal base from which to explore the quaint villages and market towns of Suffolk and Norfolk. The nearby market town of Harleston, 4 miles, has a good range of shops, pubs and restaurants, or try Bungay for boat hire and antique hunting. In the other direction, Diss has an indoor swimming pool, gym, leisure centre, main line train station and golf, as well as some of the oldest buildings in the county. The Norfolk Broads at Beccles are 10 miles, and beaches can be enjoyed at Southwold, Lowestoft and Great Yarmouth. The city of Norwich, 17 miles, is also worth a visit, with its castle museum, galleries and shops. After a day’s sightseeing, return to Honeypot Cottage to enjoy watching the sun set over the fields. Shop 1 mile, pub and restaurant 4 miles.

Our second stay here. The house is comfortable and spacious with all you need. It is situated at the end of a lane amidst fields so is quiet. There is plenty to do within short drives. Had a relaxing week here, No problems but Beryl and Mike were there if help had been needed. Ideal break with warm weather thrown in.
