Quaint, cosy and comfortable… The Brewhouse is just that. Perfect for your Wiltshire break, there is so much to do in this beautiful area.. 1 step to entrance.

Bedroom: Kingsize (5ft) Bed Ensuite: Bath With Shower Over, Toilet. Air source heat pump, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Travel cot. Use of tumble dryer in outbuilding. Patio with garden furniture. Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking. Please note: There is a canal and a pond by the property.. In a lovely rural setting with far reaching views over rolling countryside, this attractive Grade II listed detached cottage makes a cosy and very comfortable holiday base. Set near the owners’ home on their working farm, it lies within a short drive of the historic city of Bath. Walking through wild flowers meadows, the Avebury Stone Circle, Castle Combe (reputed to be England’s prettiest village), Lacock Abbey, Longleat Safari Park, Bradford-on-Avon’s many antique shops and Swindon’s steam museum and outlet shopping are just some of the area’s many delights. Shop 1 mile, pub serving food 0.25 miles.

Amanda and her family were so welcoming and friendly. The cottage was ideally placed to tour the area. It is snug, warm and plenty big enough for 2 people.We visited the REME museum, the motor museum at Calne, Bath city centre, Devizes on market day (Thurs) and the GWR rail museum and designer outlet at Swindon. Bath city centre has lots of car parks walking distance from the centre and lots different eateries. Devizes has a traditional market (indoor and outdoor) and is well worth a visit. The GWR museum and designer outlet use the same car park where it costs £2 for 5 hours. Plenty of time to see the trains and then buy lots of chocolate at the Cadbury shop.Also worth a visit is the Foxham Inn. It's a little pricey but the food is delicious and the staff are really friendly. The roads around the cottage are narrow but there are lots of passing places and most people we met drive with care and curtesy.We had a brilliant week at the brewhouse and would not hesitate to go again.
