This lakefront cottage has set an incredibly high bar for all of our future vacation rentals. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how spotless and beautifully designed the home was. Every detail felt thoughtfully considered, from the high-end furnishings and appliances to the comfort of having air conditioning—a welcome luxury during our summer stay. The cottage was perfectly equipped for longer visits, allowing us to cook meals, do laundry, and truly feel at home. As wonderful as the cottage itself was, the view is what truly took our breath away. Watching the clouds drift across the lake and experiencing the magic of the midnight sun from the property was unforgettable. The scenery seemed to change by the hour, and we found ourselves constantly drawn to the windows just to take it all in. One of our favorite features was the sauna. The large picture window looked directly out onto the lake, creating a peaceful and uniquely Finnish experience. Even better, the sauna was connected to a spacious, modern shower—something we found to be a rare luxury during our travels in Finland. Our host, Antti, was exceptionally kind, responsive, and helpful throughout our stay, making the experience even more enjoyable. We left wishing we had booked a longer visit and are already talking about returning in the winter to experience this beautiful property in another season. We would wholeheartedly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a peaceful, comfortable, and unforgettable stay in Lapland.

The sun did tend to heat the house on in the early morning and afternoon. But as long as the bugs weren’t out, we were able to open up all the doors and create a nice cross breeze.

Nieuw, modern, compleet, welness, goede bedden

Kan echt niks bedenken
