We loved that the hosts left us a gift of beautiful fresh sour dough bread,which we enjoyed. Everything was spotlessly clean & comfortable. Every room had a heat pump which was needed as the weather was very cold. The location of the property was amazing - close to the city center & restaurants also the costal walkway just across the street. We also enjoyed the beautiful artworks in the apartment.
We found the layout of the apartment very disjointed _ many rooms closed up making a long walk from the kitchen/living area to the bedrooms & bathroom [I understand this will be somewhat remedied with future development]. but perhaps this could be mentioned in the advertising as we didn't expect it.

The accommodation exceeded our expectations. Staying in a building of historical significance to Napier which has been beautifully renovated and includes furniture and memorabilia to enhance the experience. The location could not have been better too. Right across the road from the beach and only metres from some lovely restaurants. Our hosts made us feel welcome and were only a phone call away if needed - which they weren't!
