Prachtige ligging. Fantastisch restaurant, verdient een ster!
Kamer is mooi, maar niet praktisch, door gebrek aan bergingsruimte: zeer kleine kleerkast!
Geen aangepaste spiegel voor de dames.
Geen handdoekrek.
Veel te duur voor dit comfort.

Beautifully situated at the absolute top of the town of Sancerre on the location of the ancient castle, one tower remaining. Spectacular views of the region, from the hills of Sancerre wine country to vineyard of Pouilly Fume across the river. Lovely restoration of the villa. Large, well-designed room with comfort and attractive bathroom. Warm welcome and nice breakfast. Enjoyed an intro to the wines of Sancerre with a knowledgeable wine professional at the hotel with 4 other couples who were also guests.
Hotel's restaurant was closed both nights of our stay, which was a disappointment, especially since on Monday's it appeared that all of the fine dining establishments in town were also closed for business. Many were also closed on Tuesdays, as well.

Die besondere Unterkunft, das sehr aufmerksame und freundliche Personal, der wunderschöne Garten, die Lage…..alles ist phantastisch!! Auch die Weingegend lädt zu wunderschönen Wanderungen oder auch Fahrradtouren ein.
