My stay in Kurseong was one of the most memorable parts of my trip. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with such warmth and kindness that I never felt like I was staying at a homestay—I truly felt at home. The homemade food was absolutely delicious, fresh, and prepared with so much care. During my stay, I fell unwell, and the hosts went out of their way to look after me. They even helped arrange medicines, and their genuine concern meant more than words can express. One of the highlights of my stay was spending time with the host’s father, a retired Army veteran. Listening to his inspiring life experiences and stories from the four wars he served in was an absolute privilege and something I’ll always cherish. The house itself is beautifully designed with a charming duplex layout, offering a cozy and peaceful atmosphere. And of course, Lucy, the adorable pet, made every day a little brighter. If you’re visiting Kurseong and looking for more than just accommodation—a place that feels like home with heartfelt hospitality, delicious homemade food, and wonderful people—I highly recommend staying here. I stayed at Arms Homestay for one night, and if I ever visit Kurseong again, I would choose to stay here without a second thought. The warmth and affection I received here touched me deeply. The hosts were genuinely caring, the food was wonderful, and the entire experience felt so homely that I never imagined I could receive such warmth outside my own home. It felt less like staying at a homestay and more like being welcomed by family. Besides, reaching the homestay is very convenient. It is located within about a kilometer from Kurseong Railway Station, right beside Himali School. If you enjoy walking, it is easily reachable on foot, and if not, shared taxis are readily available near the station as well as the Kurseong Market. The location makes it both accessible and convenient for travelers. A truly memorable experience, and I wholeheartedly recommend Arms Homestay.
