Beautiful design of the apartment, located in the heart of the Matera.
Too humid. Our bed was wet every night. The air conditioning wasn’t working properly and it was too loud- couldn’t get the room to heat. It was almost always 18 degrees inside and we were cold at night.

Ambiance. Excellent shower with great water pressure. Coffee machine with pods.
The humidity and smell of the accomodation.

What exquisite accommodation! I can fault NOTHING about this place! The beds were comfortable, the apartment is beautifully decorated and really well appointed - we lacked for nothing. The owner really has thought of every little thing to make for a comfortable stay! We got a taxi from the bus terminal and he was able to to drop us off at the front door ( rather than navigate the streets with our bags). And the host was very help and accommodating. Matera is magnificent and Luna Inn is the PERFECT stay. Can’t recommend highly enough!

Fabulous quirky apartment in the centre of the Sassi
Would advise you to take a back pack over night stay as lots of steps both in and out of the apartment. We loved it. Good communication.
Would not recommend for anyone with mobility issues you can get a shuttle/taxi to entrance but stairs inside might make it tricky. I’m tall so getting out of bathroom I had to do backwards
