Avlod Guest House

Great location, walkable to square. The hostel owner was extremely friendly and helpful. Unlimited hot water and clean room. Very nice stay!

The location is perfect — just about a 7-8 minute walk from Registan Square, which was extremely convenient. Despite traveling alone as a woman, I felt completely safe even when returning from the night light show. The neighborhood seemed very quiet and secure. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. They provided two free bottles of water, which was very helpful on a hot day. The price is also very reasonable for what you get. The owner (the male host) speaks English, and although the female host does not, both of them were incredibly friendly. They were always willing to help, and whenever I contacted them on WhatsApp, they kindly gave me useful information. It was my first time in Samarkand, but thanks to their hospitality, I really like the city as well as the country. I would definitely stay at this guesthouse again when I return.

Nothing comes to mind.

A nice family stay with big rooms and a nice internal garden. Bakha was really supportive, came to pick us up at the train station and was available even at late night to arrange taxis to the airport. The place is also walking distance from Registan.
