In "Our Little House" all guests are very welcome. We love to receive! And we want our guests to feel at home: happy and comfortable.
"Nossa Casinha" is a large and cozy house, which has been completely renovated thinking about the best comfort and well being for our guests. It consists of a suite, living room, kitchen, toilet and a covered patio. It is equipped with all appliances: fridge, freezer, ceramic hob, oven, dishwasher and washing machine, and microwave. And all the equipment needed to prepare and serve simple meals. Bed linen and towels are available.
The house is situated 100 mts. from Gaia main avenue and from D Metro Station. John II
Guests can walk, by metro or bus, to El Corte Ingles, or visit the Port Wine Cellars in the iconic Ribeira de Gaia. You can also visit the Serra do Pilar Monastery, right next to the Luis I Bridge, with a magnificent view of the Douro River. Or, cross the Luis I Bridge and visit the city of Porto, with a mandatory stop at Livraria Lello, considered one of the coolest in the world; climb the Clérigos Tower and finally have tea / coffee or a meal in the stunning and historic MAJESTIC Café.
Coming from Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport, you can take metro line E (violet) to Trindade Station, then change to line D (yellow) towards Santo Ovídio (Gaia). And get off at stop D. John II (stop right after El Corte Ingles). Then just walk 100 mts. and find "Our Corner". However, just outside the metro, the hosts will be waiting to greet you!
The area where "Our House" is inserted is covered by all kinds of commerce: banks, pharmacies, bakeries, cafes, restaurants, butcher, fishmonger, fruit shop, etc ...

Perfect Stay with Incredible Hosts!
Apartment was spotless, kitchen had everything I needed and there were 2 AC/ heating units - one in the living room and another in the bedroom. Sun room was also an added bonus as this is where I dried my clothes after I washed.
I spent two weeks at Delfina and Jorge’s apartment, and I cannot recommend it enough. The apartment literally had everything I needed for my 2 week stay.
The location is absolutely ideal. It is incredibly close to the metro station, making it seamless to get around. Plus, having grocery stores, great take-away food options, and everyday essentials right at my doorstep made the stay so convenient.
What truly sets this place apart, though, is the hospitality. Delfina welcomed me warmly when I arrived and took the time to show me how everything in the apartment worked. To top it off, both Jorge and Delfina came to say goodbye when I checked out.
They are just an amazing couple and the definition of super hosts. Incredibly kind and genuinely hospitable. I will definitely be staying here again in the future.
