The Tree House & Casita — Expanded, Renovated, and Better Than Ever!

Located in the highly sought-after Piney Island community, this exceptional property sits as close as you can get to the Assateague beach entrance. Completely reimagined from top to bottom, The Tree House — the tallest home on Chincoteague Island — now features sleeping for 15, multiple indoor and outdoor gathering spaces, three heated screened-in porches, four decks, including two with panoramic Assateague Channel and Lighthouse views, and two indoor family rooms.

The adjacent lot adds even more fun with a concrete basketball court, a smokeless fire pit, plenty of space for outdoor games, and the expanded 1300-square-foot Casita, complete with its own full bath, kitchenette, TV area, and full game room.

The first floor welcomes you with a mudroom — the perfect place to drop sandy shoes and beach towels.

The second floor sleeps nine or more guests and includes three bedrooms and two full bathrooms. The Blue Room features a queen bed and a single-over-single bunk bed and opens directly onto a deck. The Yellow Room has a queen bed and a single bed. The Green Room, which adjoins the Yellow Room via a pocket door, offers a full bed and a fold-away single bed and has direct access to a heated screened-in porch. This porch includes a hammock, a swing chair, and an attached open deck with a conversation seating area. Also on this level are two full bathrooms, a laundry room, and a hallway desk space.

The third floor is the main gathering space, where everyone naturally comes together. Enjoy gorgeous water views from the living and dining rooms. The renovated kitchen includes a separate beverage refrigerator, a dishwasher, and a full oven and stove. This level also offers a large flat-screen television, a convenient half bath, a heated screened-in porch with a spacious dining table, and an outdoor deck with a railing bar top and gas grill.

The fourth floor sleeps six or more and includes two additional bedrooms. The Pine Room features a king-sized bed and a home office with a fold-away bed. The Red Room offers a full bed with a twin trundle and an additional twin bed. A full bathroom is located on this floor, along with a private screened-in porch equipped with a hammock and spectacular views of the Assateague Channel and lighthouse.

At the very top is the extraordinary Tower Room — more than 40 feet above ground — offering the two highest decks on Chincoteague Island. From here, you can enjoy panoramic views of Piney Island, Assateague Island, Wallops Island, and the Assateague Channel. The room includes built-in seating, a cozy mattress nook, and a television. It is truly unforgettable.

The Casita has also been fully expanded and renovated. It includes a kitchenette with a wet bar, refrigerator, dishwasher, and microwave, as well as a full bathroom with a shower, a TV room with comfortable sofas, and a full game room that features a pool table, ping pong, and foosball.

Additional amenities include an EV charger, kayaks, bikes, a smokeless fire pit, an outdoor shower, and a concrete basketball court. The location allows for easy walks to restaurants, shops, and Assateague Island, and a community kayak launch is just a short stroll away.
