Stunning view and location is absolutely the best in Paris. I never dreamed it would be so amazing! Going in and out of the classic architecture and on the historic circle! Just wow! Close to everything too Overall, if you want to stay in Paris on the cheap, you absolutely can't get better. Penthouse view However: Give yourself a day to find this place. Key is in a laundromat and it's a walk from there. The door lock is very hard to turn. Pull the door closed hard while turning or the latch won't budge. The directions say to use the call box at the second door - No. The key fob opens it. The stairs are fine if you exercise regularly. The room is the size of a king bed, and that's what's in it. Expect to climb over it to get to the bathroom. If you're handy and curious, the bed can slide into a twin size. The bedding is amazingly comfortable. You might miss breakfast to sleep longer. You will hear every footstep of every neighbor and person coming up the stairs. Remember - this was made for servants. The bathtub has very high sides and no handrail.Turn the hot water off and then off again and then off again. If you are staying for more than one night, bring your own soap. I'd like it if we could attach pictures. There's no calming reading nook style. It's all plain white bedding. The cute vases and branches on the shelves - nope. A white plastic fan and a nice little lamp, two empty shelves and a power strip - but not the power cord for the tv I would 100% stay again

What an amazing place to stay in the pinnacle area of Paris. I would suggest for older people not to stay here as you do have to climb 6 flights of stairs with a suitcase and the bathtub is very high to get in. The facet is quit wobbly and there is a risk of breaking. The bed is very close to the bathroom door and you will have to squeeze past to sit on the high chairs to look out. The place was very clean and amazing place to stay for easy access to all monuments and museums. Good food around and would recommend. However, the room is very small, smaller than a studio apartment.

Amazing location as it’s just around the corner from the Louvre and the Seine (10 mins walk), as well Notre Dame (20 mins walk), many restaurants and patisseries given its proximity to la rue Montorgueil. The key pick up and drop off is 6-7 mins away, so not terrible at all and it’s a very easy box system. However, the flat is on the last floor (a long way up), even smaller than shown in the pictures. When we arrived it didn’t have basic amenities (hand soap or toilet paper) which the host said they’d pay us back for up to 15 with proof of purchase, but it was rather disappointing to not be able to use the loo or wash your hands upon arrival. Lastly, the flat is not very clean - there were splatters on the bed frame, dust, little hairs on the bedsheets and when we made the bed to be able to move around the room (otherwise you can’t step without hitting the TV or your shin on the bed frame), it was filled with accumulated dust, so I don’t think they clean under there which is a shame as to use the space you have to make the bed. There are only 2 small bowls and just a few plates, and there was no wine bottle opener (a sad finding in France), but we purchased our own and decided to leave it there for the next guest. Overall, a 3-star experience: not the cleanest, a high way up, but with a superb view and an terrific location.
