A spacious house with plenty of parking, within easy walking distance to Keswick town centre. Stunning kitchen and bathroom new in 2022.. 1 step to entrance.

Bathroom: Bath, Walk-In Shower, Heated Towel Rail, Toilet. Gas central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. External utilitiy shed with freezer and tumble dryer.. Enclosed lawned garden with sitting out area and garden furniture. Bike store. Private parking for 3 cars. No smoking. Please note: There are 4 steps in the garden. The height of the internal balustrade is less than 1 metre, with gaps between the spindles wider than 10cm; Extra care to be taken.. This spacious semi-detached property is in a prime location in the heart of Keswick. With a great pub up the road, you haven’t got far to walk for a pint! Sleeping up to five guests in three bedrooms, two of which have excellent views of the surrounding fells and plenty of storage and hanging space. The bathroom is stunning, with a large walk-in shower and a nice deep bath, perfect for easing those aching muscles after a day on the fells. Downstairs, the living has an electric fire adding the finishing touch to this cosy room which is ideal for a movie night. The contemporary kitchen has beautiful granite worktops and is very well-equipped.
For outdoor adventure including walking, cycling and climbing, you are surrounded by some amazing scenery and routes around Latrigg and Catbells; nearby you’ll find Skiddaw, Walla Crag and Blencathra to name a few. Situated just a short walk is the River Greta, Derwentwater and Fitz Park, and the bustling town centre of Keswick, offering the ideal base to explore the delights of Keswick on foot. The traditional market town of Keswick is full of narrow streets with independent shops and courtyards and has an abundance of bars, pubs, restaurants, cafés, coffee shops, delis, outdoor shops and every other type of shopping experience you could imagine.
If you like culture, check out the Theatre by The Lake with award winning arts and drama on the banks of Derwentwater (1 mile) where you can hire a rowing boat or even take a dip if you need to cool down. For family fun you could try Puzzling Place, a mind-boggling attraction based on optical illusions or the Derwent Pencil Museum, home to the largest pencil in the world (0.5 miles). Or if you want a wild day out, try The Lake District Wildlife Park at Bassenthwaite (8 miles) or The Lakes Distillery offering daily tasting and tours (8 miles).

We found the property just what we were looking for, it ticked most of our boxes. But we did miss a freezer in the kitchen, it was a bit annoying having to go to the garage for our ice at the bottom of the garden.

Parkfield is in an excellent location and had everything that we needed. The whole house was very well laid out and the bathroom shower was lovely with good water pressure. Parking area was very much appreciated as is one of the things that we look for in a property. We would make 2 small recommendations and that is the front bedrooms could do with black out blinds as there is a street light straight outside and so the bedroom is very light at night. Also the door on the tumble dryer is broken and so the door wont stay shut and so it wont work, we had to prop it shut, this might not effect everybody but was needed as we had some wet days. Saying that these would not put us of booking again.
